Tim Wakefield For The Hall Of Fame!

I found this article about why Wakefield should be in the Hall...not a bad take if you ask me...the guy is 42 years old and obviously he still has it. Will we see him in the Hall???

I love Wakefield. I may poke him when he's not having a good day, but I still love him. For one thing, I admire successful knuckleballers. There haven't been tons of them, and there's very few now. For another, I always like/root for older players who are still makin' good (since I'm not a spring chicken myself anymore...).

 

I'm not sure about The Hall of Fame, tho.

It's target marketing. They know that fans of the game are found here. It's annoying. Not much you can do. They will fade quickly when ignored. But more will come.

 

How about banning them immediately when you detect them. Delete all their posts. Done. It's work, but what else can you do.

Ya and more to the point, I love wakefield and hes been an incredibly serviceable guy for us over the years but hes a knuckleball pitcher, they are .500 pitchers for the most part.
