Santana was close to lights out. I rag on Lugo (justifiably for the most part) and he did cost the Sox tonight. But the Sox bats simply were not active.

 

As for the Rays, Scott Kazmir was placed on 15 day DL with leg problems (7.59 ERA). Troy Percival left the team with shoulder problems and Joe Madden does not expect him to return. Oh, the sorrow.

Not too bad, better, his velocity was up. The pitch to Sheff was a meatball though. Line looks bad but it was mostly Lugo, although he wasnt charged with an error. His range is awful and he blew a DP becuase of sand in his vag or something.

His velocity was 93-95, which is about 4 or 5 mph higher then the start of the season.

I know of Dreamland's BBQ in Tuscaloosa, AL and Rendevous in Memhis (others there as well) and KC would be a good place to hit up, though you'd need to spend a week there. In Arkansas, I would say Whole Hog Cafe in Little Rock or Corky's.

edit- plus he has only made two errors this year in 140 total chances. He is young, young infielders go through growing pains in the field alot of times. He could turn out to be a decent fielder.

Hanley really isn't that bad of a defensive SS - his defenseive rating has improved year to year.

Hanley's problem isn't arm or range.

 

He's boneheaded like Furcal, and that's sometimes worse than being physically limited.
