Wow, that's awful. Say what you want about George, but Hank and Hal are running this organization into the ground.

To be fair, most stadiums have the same policy.

But most stadiums haven't had the run of bad press this has lately, so it's another questionable move in a long line of questionable moves.

More fun facts about the new shithole:

- Former Yankee great and current YES-man Paul O'Neill was kicked out BP at the indoor batting cages area for "loitering".

- O'Neill's wife was denied entry to the wives' room.

- If you go to the stadium straight from work, you aren't allowed to bring your computer bag in and must leave it at the bowling alley across the street for 5$.

- The Angels bring several broadcasters on the road who alternate between radio and TV. Broadcasters who weren't on the air but needed to keep up with the game were sitting in one of two empty broadcast booths and were kicked out.

- The Yankees tried to charge $4,000 a pop for local TV outlets to do reports inside the stadium.

- The fee for TV networks airing Yankee games to park their trucks outside and plug their equipment into the stadium increased to $12,000 from $3,000 in the old stadium.

- The Yankees are jamming frequencies and walkie-talkies so out of town broadcasters can't use their own equipment and are forced to rent from the Yankees.

- The team is flaking out on a promise to build a new baseball field for local kids when they destroyed their old one to build the new shitter.

All of that is true (except I believe they still plan on building heritage park on the site of the old Stadium when it's demolished), and it makes me irate. The Yankees and their lack of class, poor business practices, and terrible customer service disgusts me. A lot of it has to do with the employees. Not so much the front office and the team hierarchy; who we already know what they are, but a lot of the game day employees who get the positions through s***** Bronx employment agencies. To them it's just a job. They need people working there who look at it as a privilege to hold that job. They're constantly rushing people out, short tempered, and ill-mannered. Seems like the fans who pay their salaries are a burden to them. After the All Star game last year right after the game winning run scored in the bottom of the 15th the usher in the section I was sitting in started telling everyone to leave prior to the postgame festivities and MVP presentation. A bunch of us refused and he seemed angry. At the workout prior to the start of the season the ushers and security people were annoyed with everybody. At about 4 they tried making everyone leave, and even a small request to take a quick picture resulted in a short, nasty response of "hurry up," followed by a dirty look. They were all trying to parade people out because they wanted to go home and smoke crack or whatever. I heard one employee, actually a supervisor say to one of her employees "why these people still here, they need to leave already I got s*** to do" (not an exact quote but something along those lines). That type of s*** disgusts me. They way they treat people, and not just the little guys but ANY people (O'Neill, Angels broadcasters, etc.) is angrily disturbing. This used to be an organization that prided itself on class, and always claimed to have the best fans in the world. Well if that's the case then treat us like that. The gameday employees telling people the other night that the game was canceled so that less people would be around and more of them could leave work earlier is just repulsive. It makes me irate. I'm so disgusted with the way many in the Yankee organization are doing things lately, and it needs to change. Otherwise they're going to be swallowing a huge loss on that billion dollar taxpayer-funded Stadium.

Seriously' date=' the Yankees organization is such f***ing s***. Nothing but a bunch of pricks. f*** them and their billion dollar minor league ballpark.[/quote']

Let's be fair, the ballpark is pretty f***ing nice. The people working there however, are another story.

It looks nice and everything, but it just sucks to watch on T.V. Every time I'm watching a game from there I just feel like I am watching a spring training game.

everytime I watch a Yankee home game it looks like a bunch of high school punks are trespassing on some guy's estate and having a kegger
