Nice job predicting that one of the best pitchers in baseball would be effective eventually

Nice job not predicting it yourself, oh master of 2nd grade sarcasm.

I'm not sure why it happened but he plunked a 95 mph fastball off, I believe, Chipper Jone's ass. That's got to hurt!

Nate McLouth. I don't believe it was on purpose though, when he does it on purpose, he usually glares in with a "f*** you" look on his face. This time, he looked out to the bleachers with a "that one got away" look

I prefer not to live too dangerously B)

Well taking risks is not that bad sometimes.

Look at Dustin Diamond.

I believe that it was also on a full count pitch after Beckett battled back to get 2 strikes. I don't think that there's a reason to believe that that was intentional.

Last 7 starts (including the Phillies start):

1.24 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, .472 OPS, 5.33 K/BB.

0.20 ERA, 0.49 WHIP excluding that start.

absolutely insane statistics. he's having the best stretch of his entire career. the way he's been snapping those breaking balls and grooving those two-seamers has been giving me erections

How about 96 MPH heat painting the low inside black against both righties and lefties?

It's a thing of beauty.

oh definitely, 96 at the knees is just unhittable.

The scary thing is that he's actually pitched better than his numbers indicate. His ERA independent of the fielding behind him is 3.14 and his BABIP is over .300.
