He may not have thrown as hard in 08 as he did in 97 but in 97 I think he was a better pitcher. The WBC defiantly f***ed with him, he was gearing up for it all winter, hes just not right.

Daisuke has lost 8 miles an hour of his fastball in the last 2 years. This has nothing to do with the WBC. Daisuke is hiding an injury. And not doing a very good job of it, I might add.
