Big Boston fan stuck here in the south. My greatest Sox memory was from the one game I was able to attend.

 

On July 24th, 2004 I got to finally witness my first Red Sox game. A game against the freaking yankees no less! The two things I will forever remember (other than yelling at Posada he looked like a weasel and a rat) were Varitek absolutely owning A-roid at home plate that incited a bench clearing brew-ha-ha and the other was that beautiful shot off of Bill Mueller's bat into the stands that gave us an 11-10 victory in the bottom of the 9th off of semmingly "untouchable" Mariano. I never wanted to leave the stands because it was great.

Lucky Bastard! I had to go to a wedding that day. I missed most of what happened after the brawl. My sister in law called me at the wedding to let me know about the dramatic ending. I enjoyed the wedding after that.

Yeah, I can vouch for this guy. One of my best friends and a legit Sox fan. Hopefully he sticks around here and contributes.

And the ticket was only 75 bucks. I considered that good for out in the bleachers. Plus I got to watch a yank fan get pelted with peanuts for an entire game.

Was this the same game that had david Ortiz and Trot Nixon stomping the s*** out of Tanyon Sturtze while he was rooling around on the ground trying to avoid the ass beating ?LOL.

It was also the same fight that varitek tried to fight A-rod in full catchers gear. ROFL, it's like a tank picking a battle with a hummer or something.

 

That was a very entertaining game. I got a kick out of the whole thing.
