According to multiple sources within the Dallas Cowboys, there is an emerging internal conflict involving three of the team's highest-profile stars.

As the preseason Super Bowl favorites struggle in the final month of the season to simply make the playoffs, wide receiver Terrell Owens has expressed resentment toward Tony Romo, apparently jealous of the quarterback's relationship with tight end Jason Witten.

Owens thinks Romo and Witten -- close friends and road roommates who came to Dallas in the same offseason -- hold private meetings and create plays without including Owens, according to a source who speaks regularly with Owens' teammates. Owens believes these discussions have worked to his detriment and Romo seeks to deliver the ball to Witten regardless of whether Owens is open.

I would never want Terrell Owens anywhere near this team.

He doesn't know when to shut his mouth.

Does he not realize that he's gotten MORE targets than Witten this year, just has less catches because he's got hands of stone?

Waaaait a minute... notice the news story is from ESPN.

From what I've heard, it's three different Dallas Cowboys WR's, including Roy Williams, and not just T.O. -- ESPN is just spinning and manipulating this to fit their own little agenda.

Moss >>>>>> Owens' date=' on field and off.[/quote']

Now he is. But Owens has never quit on his team or taken plays off like Moss did in Oakland and Minnesota.

I love it. The Cowboys are imploding right in front of our eyes. The thing is, that team is sooo much better than 8-5. Them missing the playoffs altogether would be a fantastic Christmas present. Wonder if they are regretting giving up all those picks for Roy Williams now?

I don't know much about football, but even I know that's wrong.

I think we can all agree that they're both headcases.

That sharpie TD celebration was brilliant though -- far better than anything Ocho Cinco's done.

How about Joe Horn and the cell phone? Eh? Eh?

Naaaaah.

Although when Owens went to the center star against the Cowboys... that was good too. Because that prompted Emmitt Smith to go to the star and throw down a little challenge. And then T.O. does it again and gets clocked by George Teague! Amazing.

Any TD celebration that requires you to run 50 yards just to pull it off is okay in my book.

TO really started the whole prop celebration popularity' date=' didn't he?[/quote']

Yeah, I can't really think of any that did it before him. And nobody's done it better, in my opinion.

The only one of Ocho Cinco's celebrations I liked was when he did the Lambeau Leap into the Dawg Pound and got beer spilled on him.

Something tells me that this is a bigger problem than the Cowboys are letting on... but what else is new?

The Ft. Worth Star-Telegraph cites two unnamed sources as saying Terrell Owens and Jason Witten "exchanged words before being separated" during a team meeting Friday.

The Cowboys are attempting to downplay the whole soap opera and are putting on their best face for the media, but "Owens was still clearly miffed." Sunday's game against the Giants could be the tipping point. If the Cowboys win, the story will go away for a week. If they lose, their playoff hopes are likely shot, the drama will continue, and Wade Phillips will be firmly planted on the hot seat. Dec. 13 - 9:14 am et

Has Moss ever called a press conference so the press could watch him do crunches in his driveway?

Moss has been a consumate pro here in boston, owens has been a **** everywhere hes played and still cant get over the fact that mcnabb has had success without him in philly.

an incredible talent that is just too selfish and stupid to be counted on to do anything but f*** up team chemistry and ruin coaches.

Id like to see him pull this s*** with Larry Allen and Nate Newton on the team.

Id actually like to see Mark Columbo beat the s*** out of him in practice.

Remember his faux suicide attempt?

The man just sucks as a human being.

Again, give me the guy who's an ******* off of the field over the guy who takes plays off and quits on his team any day of the week.

I'm curious, though... what success has McNabb had in Philly without him? They've been to the playoffs once without him and that was the year McNabb got hurt and Jeff Garcia lead them to the postseason. Has any team been more successful without TO than they were with him?
