it wouldnt surprise me. his defense is by far his strong point and Detroit has enough pop that they can hide Wilson in their lineup

Well, he did hit .296 with a .350 OBP in his last full season while hitting in one of the most pitcher-friendly ballparks in baseball

 

he's not exactly someone I would hate to have in a Sox uniform

I went to a couple of Pirates games a few months ago, and Wilson admitted on the Jumbotron he had trouble with women before he got married. He actually has a pretty good sense of humor. Lots of self deprecation.
