Hi everyone, i've been a fan of the Red Sox for about 10 years now, if anyone needs the insight of someone who lives in a 3rd world country and has only seen Fenway on T.V but still loves the Sox, well i'm here for you.

Welcome, I spent a couple weeks in the Dominican in HS (many moons ago) and loved it. We went to a new place every day and set up a free clinic (dental, podiatry, general, ect...) and had a blast. Of course these days I doubt I could get all the stuff I bought through security like I did back then.... machete's, switchblade, ect...

I don't remember....I know we looked in each place we were every day, but most of those places were very poor. If I remember correctly, we were based in Las Matas and went out to a new place every day. The last day there they let us loose in Santa Domingo to do some shopping and that's where most of the damage was done. We had a lot of orders to fill from our HS friends, and would probably be considered arms dealers if we tried it today!

Ya I just looked at a map, it was def Las Matas because we were close to the Haitian border. Each day we would go out to a new place and set up a clinic, could be a 30min drive or a 3 hour drive.....something different every day.

Thank God for Law School, i have a couple cousins who're med students, and they have to go help in those free clinics for field work credits.....

I was born and live about 100 miles from Fenway and am jealous that you get to watch the Sox on TV. I can only listen to the Sox on the radio where I live because we're considered "Yankees Market" and the Sox are blocked. So I listen to the games just like my parents did, on a staticky radio.

But the only way i can watch every Red Sox game, is to buy MLB.TV from MLB.COM, but i've been lucky enough to get it as a birthday present the last 2 years,lol.
