Up till now' date='Wakefeild have a good performence[/quote']

He'll give us a good 8 tonight.

EDIT: Maybe a CG to preserve the pen for tomorrow.

I can understand if Tito puts in one of the call-ups to pitch the 9th. Give a guy some experience.

With a 4 run lead I don't see the trouble in it.

It's unbelievable how Toronto can bash Beckett's 97 mph fastball all over the park, but Wakefield's puss ball has them making meek outs.

I think if the Sox win one of tomorrow's game, Halladay will be pushed back and pitch on his regular day.

Delcarmen?

Seriously Tito?

I mean he's good and all, but with a 7 run lead, why not save him for another day and let a new guy get some time on the mound?

A good 8 innings of shutout ball from Wakefield. Thank you for your service!

And thanks MDC for a clean 9th.

Nice play by Youk!

Good win tonight. Let's do it again twice tomorrow.

Phenomenal job by Wakefield tonight. 8 shutout innings and preserved the 'pen for tomorrow's DH. We needed this one coming off 2 tough losses to the Rays.

You can't underestimate how HUGE tomorrow is. Both the Sox and Rays play DH's. Chance to really make up some ground, or if we play lousy, to lose it.

Solid game by Wake, knew the game in Texas wasnt something to be worried about. Offense is clicking. Lowrie, Papi, and Kevin Cash!

I def have to give props to Toronto. They arent mailing it in until theyre officially eliminated. Putting Halladay, Burnett and Litsch all on 3 days rest really shows that. Next year theyll help the East remain the toughest division in baseball
