It hurts the Quebecois that the Yankees have more titles than les habs do and the fact is in the forseeable future it isnt getting any easier there...By 2015 hockey will be an American only sport with perhaps the exception being Toronto unless the Government in Quebec wants to get involved.

I thought the Habs played pretty well. I'm just upset Gainey decided not to have Georges Laraque in the lineup at the expense of the worthless sack of s*** that is Ryan O'Byrne

Over on HFBOARDS.COM the Habs fans were ripping the Bruins for their dirty play. Wan't it "Hammerlick" who cross-schecked Recchi when he was on the ice? Or Gorges who plowed Bergeron into the goal after Bergie scored? They were the instigators...unfortunately the B's couldn't keep their cool otherwise I don't think Montreal comes back to take a lead.

 

A first round match-up vs Montreal is far from a sure win, at least it has the potential to be an extremeley brutally contested series.

I think Gainey gave them the "Sean Avery" green light, antagonize but don't let them take their frustrations out in a fight. O'Byrne was example A, bump into Thornton, fall to the ice like a bitch, and then have the balls to jaw back at Thornton in the box, what kind of s*** is that? Then in a postgame interview he goes on talking about how the Habs showed their "toughness" all game. Yeah, okay, you and Komisarek were really intimidating by covering up and letting the linesmen protect you.
