I think you guys are missing my point. The two months ago Red Sox were your father's Red Sox' date=' what with the lack of range in the OF, and the heavier reliance on the long ball to bring those guys home. When was the last time you saw an OF for the Sox that could shag flies like Bay in LF, Ellsbury in CF, and Kotsay in RF. When was the last time you saw a Sox team able to score as much as the one we've seen the last couple of weeks who hit as few HR? It's isn't just the names I'm talking about, it's the style of play.[/quote']

 

I guess I was taking it too literally. I agree, with the subtraction of Manny and the additions of Bay and Kotsay, the outfield has added a lot of speed, not to mention fantastic offensive production.
