DiceK pitches tonight as the Red Sox play the rangers. Hopefully DiceK pick up a win. Youk is hitting in the cleanup spot today and i hope he does good. Your thoughts on the game??

Scouting Report:

Rangers: Originally, Hunter was slated to have his spot in the rotation skipped this week, which would have kept him from starting against the Red Sox. Instead, a rotation reshuffling has Hunter in line to start Texas' series finale with Boston. In 9 1/3 innings, Hunter has allowed 11 earned runs. He'll be looking to improve that ratio against the same Boston lineup that posted 19 runs Tuesday night. Despite having allowed eight hits in each of his first two Major League starts, Hunter has gone right at hitters and has recorded eight strikeouts. He didn't walk a single batter in 4 1/3 innings against the Yankees his last time out.

 

Red Sox: The right-hander has turned in strong performances in his past two starts, going 2-0 while allowing three earned runs over 14 innings. In Matsuzaka's last start ?- a 6-2 win over the White Sox ?- he worked a season-high eight innings. In 11 starts at Fenway Park this season, Matsuzaka is 7-2 with a 3.65 ERA. He picked up the win in his last start against the Rangers this season, on April 18, giving up five hits and three runs in 5 1/3 innings. Matsuzaka is holding opponents to a .206 average.

 

We're going with some special mojo today. I woke up this morning to my txt tone going off on my cell phone. Well my cell has been being a little bitch lately so I have to repeatedly hit it just to get the screen to flicker. So about an hour later I got it to flicker a little and I saw it was a text from Talksox's own KeepTheFaith saying to start the damn gamethread and that he was bringing his mojo to Boston. I remembered that fool telling me he was going to Fenway and I realized today was the day. So let the homeboy from Philly going to Fenway for the first time.

If Coco was on waivers would we know? If not maybe Epstein wants him out of here we can only hope thats the case.

 

Lots of players go on waivers that are never claimed, so you don't hear about them.

 

Wouldn't shock me to find that Crisp is on waivers.

One of those "sliders" lit the gun at 89. In other words it was one heck of a cutter.
