Craigs List or go to the fenway box office before the game, i think they reserve day of game tickets about and the box opens 2-3 hours before the game...

its easy to get tickets if you wait in the day of game ticket line. the line is under the green monster and the tickets go on sale at 5 o clock for face value. unless you are one of the first ones in line and you have big money, you will most likely get standing room, possibly bleacher.

 

but since the tickets go on sale at 5, you have to get there to stand in line after lunch - depending on the game. some games you can get there at 4 30...but most games you should plan on waiting for 4 hours or so by getting there at 1. if its a yankees weekend game, you get there the night before.

Not really a last minute type of thing though as prices have gone up. I bought bleacher seats in section 34, like row 23 or 24 for $29 dollars each.

 

EDIT: Right now, you can get tickets against the D-Rays 9/8-9/10 in the bleachers for $40 bucks, not bad considering the importance of that series.
