Just saw this on SC but Longoria is going on the DL with a fractured wrist. Tough blow for the Rays, especially if this is a long term thing.

I don't think it's the end of their story; they'll definitely be back next year as a strong contender, and even if they slip they're in great shape.

 

I love Longoria as a player; I think he's gonna make a ton of all-star games.

Bonds hasn't hit MLB pitching in ~10 months, he wouldn't be ready until Mid-September.

 

Could be an asset in the playoffs, though.
