Drew leading off? I don't get it.

theres such a flexible lineup these days since you can basically put Drew, Bay, Lowell or Youkilis anywhere in the top 6 spots

Big game tonight' date=' need to steal this game somehow.[/quote']

The Red Sox hardly need to "steal" a game from the Royals

Yeah, I maen why put energy into stealing when the Royals are prepared to just hand the W over?

I wouldn't be so confident they reamed the Chi-Sox. The Redsox are a horendous road team and the offense is feast or famine. Gil Meche is a decent pitcher as well.

Yeah he's not bad, and against us he's got an ERA under 3.00 I believe but it was only in 7 innings. So chances are he might give Kansas City a quality start and we're gonna end up looking to the bullpen by the 6th.

If we are still in the game in the 6th i'll be very happy. But Buchholz is having a bad year 6 era basically.

But like Coco's Disciples said... it's the Royals. I'm quite sure if Lester (who's a total beast now) can no-hit them, Buchholz can keep the runs down atleast.

Clay can keep anyone down but he is a slacker. He can get 2 fast outs then 5 minutes later 3 runs are on the board. That tells me he has no focus the Royals are not that bad anymore. Go Sox.

Any baseball tean can beat any other baseball team on every given day.

The Royals have improved themselves a lot with the arrival of Mike Aviles, who was not with the Royals the last time they we saw them. He took the league's worst bat out of regular circulation and replaced it with the league's best offensive numbers at SS. He could make a huge difference in this series -- and with Aviles in the lineup the Royals are a winning team, so take them seriously.

I'm not taking them lightly. I remember what they did to us last year on opening day. But if we're going to lose tonight, it will be because of Buchholz's slacking. Let's just hope we can hit better against Meche.

Jeez. A slacker? No focus?

Yeah but, we're a lot better than KC. If we were facing the Yankees with Buchholz, advantage Yankees. Now, I'd say advantage Sox. So it wouldn't really be stealing a win.
