He's had one good month. I think you need a little more to be considered the best at your position. That .690 OPS hurts a little.

Cano is 17 for 33 with 2 doubles and 3 homers since the AS break. Pedroia is 12 for 32 since the AS break with 2 doubles

I thought you were talking about a reasonable amount of time, not just 7.5 games.

FYI, I'll take the 24 bases and .484 Freddy Sanchez has put up in the last week over Cano's 18 and .481.

Cano will not stay this hot, but will stay hot after the AS break. He seems to do this all the time. Then again, I am enjoying some adult beverages, so I havent researched said comment

I don't agree. They are close in weakness, but I give Damon, who is a DH, the edge. Also Damon's weak wing is more accurate. Crisp cannot even hit the cutoff man.
