Short and sweet.

John Lackey is an odd looking dude. Maybe it's the pre-dental revolution UK teeth or the turbo-mullet, I don't know, but he gives me the heeby-jeebies. Looks like a dude that saves his boogers.

Don't lose to a guy that saves his boogers.

Win. teh. game.

Gonna be a tough one being on the road facing one of the best SP's in the game. Hopefully Buchholz is up for the task because I suspect Lackey will be.

With that said, go Sox.

This Buchholz blows. He's got that MDC, "I'm afraid if I push too hard I'll s*** my pants", look on his face. Lester going through his growing pains, which were tough, I never saw that look.

Yeah, like down to Pawtuckett. He and Clay can be pals there.

You know what's funny, Van Every is playing CF and has over 20 bombs down there. Sure, the guy is a AAAA player, but he's hot right now and probably deserves a look with the big club.

THe DP killed the opportunity for a big inning. I'd move Pedroia to the lead off spot and batYouk 2nd, especially when Ortiz comes back. The lineup will have plenty of length with Lowell and Drew batting 5/6 or 6/5. I don't think batting Youk in the 7th hole is the best use of his talent. When Ortiz returns, I'd go with the following line up:

1. Pedroia (the Destroya)

2. Youk

3. Ortiz

4. Manny

5. Drew

6. Lowell

7. Ellsbury/Crisp

8. Tek

9. Cora/Lowrie

When Lowrie plays I'd think of moving him to 7th and dropping Ellsbury to 9th depending on who is hot.

Completely agree. Speed at the top is nice, but overrated if it's making a lot of outs.
