If anyone other than Wake was pitching, I'd say the Red Sox would most likely lose this game. As it stands, I say they're sitting at 50/50.

The first pitch today has not yet been thrown, and, while it's nice that Wakefield is pitching, the Boston Red Sox are one of the greatest teams in the history of baseball and they're having another great year.

I say that there's a really good chance that we'll win. :D

Why does Cora always seem to play when Wakefield pitches?

At this point, whats the difference between Cora and Lugo. He is an upgrade over Lugo in the field.

Cora's strength is knowledge of opposing batters and positioning himself properly to make accurate throws.

Lugo's strength is reaction speed and the velocity of his throws.

Cora hits left-handed for contact.

Lugo hits right-handed, striving for power.

Cora doesn't beat women.

Alex Cora looks a bit overmatched against Garza....remember when our lineup was scarey 1-9....me neither

I do - 2003/2004/2005.

After the Yankee series - we have a good shot to be the 3rd team in AL.

Yeah because we have no chance of winning games, we suck so bad. Damn this team

You serious? So you no longer think that this is a little slump?

Welcome to my team.

No, I am not on your team. Thus the eyeroll smiley. You are a broken record.

Did you not see the little smiley?

I see that - so that means Sox is doing great? I am confused now.

By the way - why we have Cora in the team when Lowrie is in AAA? Why?

And I am totally wrong?

?

Lugo sucks. He is an error prone singles hitter, who isnt great at hitting singles. Cora does suck as well. Honestly exchanging Cora for Lugo at this point makes little to no difference on the outcome of the game.
