1) Manny with the outfield assist. I know, I know, he gets a decent number of assists, but we're contractually obligated to be amazed every time he does something useful on defense.

2) Their catcher stole third... huh?

3) MDC did not allow a runner to score from third with 1 out.

For some reason I knew that once Timlin was in there it was over. Pretty much after the lead off single too.

 

I would have rather brought in Hansen imo. Timlin just comes in and you think there are runs going to score for sure.

To be honest I would have rathered Papelbon instead of Timlin. I know he was being held so he could get the save should the Sox had taken the lead. But I think a team win is better than a single person's stats.
