Wakfrield gave the pen just what the doctor ordered with 8 innings of shutout ball.

 

Manny and Ortiz are a once in a lifetime 1-2 punch. Savor every moment of how these guys can wreck opposing pitching, because once they are gone we will never see their likes again.

 

Kevin Cash with 3 hits. He continues to do much better than I had expected.

 

Timlin needs the work if he is going to be a useful member of the bullpen. This game was perfect for him.
