I noticed that, his curve was off and on all game. One pitch it'd be beautiful, next one it's chin music to the batter. I think he'll have it tweaked within the next 1-2 starts.

 

He did well for his first start, considering all that happened.

The bullpen in this series continues to s*** the bed. Yes Manny D just leave a hanger for your first pitch against the slugger Thomas. He makes Beckett line look a hell lot worse than it actually was

MDC blows. I think last year was a huge fluke. If you look at his IP, BB, and K, they are all relatively the same from his awful '06, the major difference was in H, but that fluctuates with BABIP. I have yet to have confidence when he enters a game.
