I think it might be interesting to trade posts about interesting memorabilia we see or purchase regarding the 2007 Champs. In 2004, I purchased a team signed baseball-- 26 signatures (including coaches and Tito). The only missing players are Bill Muellar, OCab, and Derek Lowe. It cost a pretty penny. I'm wondering if anyone has seen a 2007 team ball available. Also in 2004, I got the DVD set including every game of the ALCS and the World Series. I am assuming that will be available for 2007, but haven't seen it yet.

I have the 2004 DVD from MLB which includes the whole season but more of a focus on the World Series. Also have "Faith Rewarded" which was the NESN version. I liked that one a lot better since it covered everything more evenly and much more on the ALCS if I recall correctly. I'll probaly get the DVD for this year also.

Not related to winning the World Series per say, but Papelbon did an autograph signing back in late 2005 at a small local sports collectibles shop when he was just coming up and I got a ball signed for $25 bucks. I'd imagine it would cost a fortune to do that now, especially a live signing like he did. I also have an Eric Gagne ball I got signed at a Dodgers vs. Red Sox game a couple years back, which is kind of odd thinking about it now.

EDIT: a700, any plans to try and get those final three signatures?

Nice. I got his autograph at Fenway in 05, in like the 3rd game he played.

I got the Topps WS card set like zack, I got the ALCS and WS DVD with the full games (McCarverisms included!!). Hope they have that again too.

I'd love to get the last three signatures, but i'm not quite sure how to go about it. I got the ball from Steiner Collectibles. It comes with COA's and a hologram on the ball. If I add those signatures, I was wondering if Steiner would authenticate the new signatures. The ball was a limited edition, and I would n't want to do something that would devalue it. Any ideas.

Find out if they could rewrite a certificate of authenticity with the added signatures. It would exclude it from being limited edition since it was altered, but it's still a rare autographed ball to come by.

I have purchased memorabilia from Steiner. That's the same documentation that i received. There's a laminated card. The ball has a holgram on it and there is usually a paper COA. I am familiar with his signature. It looks authentic.
