He's using the good part of his BP. Perez is a very good RP, then he has Lewis and Betancourt. Those 3 carried their BP this year. I'd prefer he use those three good arms that are used to doing it in lieu of a guy with zero relief appearances all year. This isn't to say I don't think CC could come in and perform as an RP, but it is an atypical situation, and not one we know how he reacts to. Some guys like their routine.

I think Sabathia is better than everyone in his pen. I can't see not utilizing both Sabathia and Carmona in these last 2 games. If he's trying to setup his rotation for the ALCS, he may learn a very bitter lesson.
