Nice game by the youth. Lester was good, Elllsbury was awesome. We win the series and gain a game in the East. All is well.

I didn't see most of the game. How did Lester's stuff look? He put plenty of guys on base. I saw Ellsbury's catch. It was a great catch, especially considering the way he had to turn his glove to catch the ball. I don't think we would lose much by playing him for Drew, who seems to be a bust. At least Ellsbury has tremendous speed.

Lester was his usual self. Control issues, lots of guys on base but found ways to get out of jams

We wouldnt lose much, we would gain by playing Ellsbury over Drew. But as of right now he's the starting left fielder until Manny gets back

 

Lester got very lucky as 2 men were thrown out (Tejada on sac fly with bases loaded, and tubby Millar caught off guard rounding 2nd). He had 4 walks and just 1 strikeout. Unfortunately it sounds like right now the Sox are not sure when Buchholz will make his next start

Hey guys, it's not a bad thing if they shut down Buchholz soon.

 

I fully expect him to make 2-3 more starts anyways.
