I like the view from the review booth. Not that I want to see it every time, but it's interesting.

white just got picked off in the end zone 21-6 sfla 3 left in the 3rd

this wva team runs the ball exceptionally but just like the old big 8 schools like nebraska and oklahoma when they used the wishbone, coming back is hard when you dont throw often

Anyone think that guy Selvie is going to work out at the next level. Freak.

That's for sure. I'm not sure how much a D-ends game can mature over time but he ain't been at the position for too long, either. This USF team is a damn good squad, and the Big East looks pretty damn good -- so who got the better end of Miami, BC, and Va Tech bolting for the ACC? As it stands now, the answer is the Big East, because the ACC is garbage. Great to see USF get the win -- huge game for them. Their first sellout at Raymond James, the entire college football world watching... great for the program.

Oh Sooners. And I thought so highly of you. Overlooked Colorado and the #3 Sooners lost this afternoon.

edit: Hot dog! And Texas is down 10 to K-State! Big XII sucks.

Looks like they were guilty of looking ahead. Well, the BCS picture will probably be clearer at the end. Damn.

I was hoping for an unbeaten from each BCS conference to show how f***ed that system is.

I wouldn't call it garbage. BC and Clemson look good this year (although Clemson is having a rough time with GT who looked really good to start the year but had two bad weeks in a row), and this is when both UM and VT are in an off year. Miami will be solid next year as they are competing this year with a ton of underclassmen. VT just reloads on D and at the skill positions with talent out of the Tidewater area. They are a good signal caller from being able to compete with just about anyone.

Wow. As one commentator put it, today is "Trainwreck Saturday", nevermind "Upset Saturday."

Penn State fell to Illinois, Georgia Tech beat Clemson, Kansas State shoved it up Texas' ass, Colorado shocked Oklahoma, Maryland is looking to knock off Rutgers, and West Virginia got beat by South Florida yesterday.

It could still happen after this crazy ass week. If Oregon beats USC, Cal beats Oregon, Oklahoma finishes with one loss, Florida beats LSU or LSU wins and loses in the eventual SEC Championship game and the Big East is as big of a clusterf*** as it could be then it could be pandemonium at a level the BCS has never even seen before... Michigan seems to have righted the ship... what if them or Purdue wins the Big Ten? Nobody in the Big Ten can stop a spread offense and that's what Purdue runs. Hawaii could be the only remaining undefeated!

Uconn's still undefeated.

Lol.

Gotta love those cupcake games. But it's smart... they'll get into a bowl and get some exposure and continue to build their program off of that.

Yeah yeah, but they did beat Pitt in Pitt and just manhandled an Akron team who only gave up 20 to Ohio State.

I know, I'm just giving ya s***.

I'm a huge UConn basketball fan so I have pulled for their football team since they moved up so I'm glad to see 'em doing well too.

Ahhh, they got places for people like you.

usually the bcs has egg on its face but they got it right last year

you need a playoff here

i can see why coaches who go 11-0 wouldnt want 1

how would you like to run the table, win your conference championship, get a 1 seed then end up playing a team like florida who has 2 losses but squeeks in at the 8 spot while the 2seed plays a much easier team who finishes 7th with 1 loss..

at least it gets settled on the field

south florida at #6

bc at#7??

i love bc football and i am a 5 year season tix holder but i dont think theyre the 7th best team in america...we'll see when they play va tech miami and florida state down the stretch

Doesn't every year present a scenario to show how f***ed up the BCS is?

Absolutely, but magnitude counts, IMO. We haven't seen a collosal conundrum yet. Imagine, an undefeated from each BCS conference, six unbeaten teams, and only two get a shot. Huge egg vs. smaller egg on the face. I think it might take something like that to finally invoke change.

auburn got cornholed then usc got cornholed in recent times

lsu split the title with usc

i remember penn st split with nebraska in 94-95? and georgia tech splitting with nebraska as well(90-91?)

usc beat bear bryants bama team in 78 then bama, ranked #2 beat #1 penn st 14-7 in the 79 sugar bowl and usc beat #3 ohio state in the rose bowl

usc and bama split the a/p upi crowns.

the year before texas was #1 playing #4 notre dame in the cotton bowl

ohio st and alabama were ranked ahead of the irish and played each other in the sugar bowl...

bama beat ohio st by 30 but the irish were natiional champs by beating #1 texas

bama always seemed to get f***ed in the 70s

i remember byu won the nat championship by beating a 6-5 michigan team in the holiday bowl, the same year bc was ranked 4th at the end of the season and oklahoma got beat in the orange bowl by washington.

byu was undefeated but there were several teams better than them

a playoff is needed but who would remember all this ******** if we did away with the controversy

Crunchy your big on betting odds, right?

Have you ever seen an unranked team giving points against a top 5 team? Has anyone ever seen that?!

Everywhere I look I'm seeing Illinois a 2.5 or 3 point favorite over #5 Wisconsin.

Insane. For what it's worth, I'd take Illinois... Wisconsin is overrated and they struggle against mobile QB's. Juice will lead the Illini to the win.
