Hello All!

 

What can I say...I love the Red Sox. I have not been obsessed with them all my life, so I hope you have some tolerance for a relative newbie. I did "hop on the bandwagon" pre-2004, though, if that helps at all.

 

I'm in PA, so my second love is the Phillies. It also means that I have gotten to watch about 3 actual Sox games this summer, which really sucks! I've already promised myself to subscribe to MLB.tv for next season. Where I live, that will get me most Sox games, except the ones where the face the Yankers since my area is covered in the YES blackout area.

 

I tried hanging out at the Sons of Sam Horn site, but those guys seem to be rather hardcore and didn't have a lot of tolerance for new guys ("lurkers" as they term it.) I'm hoping for a bit warmer reception here.

 

I spend most free minutes (which, with a full-time job, a part-time, job, three kids and a wife, doesn't add up to a whole ton of time) scowering the web for all the Sox info I can find. I have never been to Fenway, but hope to rectify that next season, as well. I have almost no other Sox fans anywhere near me, but plenty of obnoxious Yanker fans.

 

So, for what it's worth, that is my story.
