Ohhhhh. The only reason I quoted your post was because I wanted to voice my displeasure at the FOX announcer copying the "put it on the board" quote. The "call the ball, Maverick" may be his own. I don't think the Hawk says that.

Jacko, the offense has been coming around the past 2 weeks since facing the Angels. It shouldve been 3 out of 4 from the Angels and a sweep of the Orioles if not for the Gagne meltdowns. They are getting on a late season hot run (14-9 in August), the Yankees will be facing a team thats running on all cylinders

 

On another note, Im really liking the addition of Bobby Kielty. He has been solid as ever on defense (1st game, 1st inning stole a homerun) and solid bat to bring out against the southpaws
