Two of the ALs best square off in a marquee pitching matchup to start off the series. Bedard has been lights out lately, with very impressive K totals. Beckett is the ace of this staff and has won these type of games before ie. vs. Peavy.

Hmmm, quiet around here. People are probably exhausted after a long day of checking various websites for trade updates. :rolleyes:

 

This team can make a statement tonight, if they can come back and win this game.

 

Lugo K'ing with the bases loaded? Not too bad. I would rather that he go up there with a discerning eye than have him swinging at the first pitch.

went to see the simpsons movie....funny, but not even an hour and a half, wait if youre in no rush to see it

Thats all we need, a Beckett injury especially with the depth depleted with gabbard now in texas

Then a road trip to Seattle, Sox need to buckle down or their in for a bumpy start to begin August. Cmon Sox do something un-2007 like, be clutch in the late innings at home
