Alrighty. I had to make this now because I know for a fact I will not have access to a computer before 1:40 tomorrow afternoon, and I must keep the "schillingouttheks" mojo rolling along. Today, we're going for the second sweep in two chances of the Devil Rays this season. It'll be tough facing Kazmir, but I like our starter as well, and if we can get to Kazmir early like last time and work into the bullpen, the sweep should be complete when all is said and done. The Sox are now a season-high 24 games above .500 and pushed the Yankees back to 9 games with their loss to Baltimore (in which Damon single-handedly f***ed up their rally with a DP ball, heh). Keep the train rolling, take care of business, and enjoy the day off on Monday. The Orioles come into town on Tuesday with another great pitching matchup: Josh Beckett vs. Erik Bedard. One game at a time. Go Sox...WIN!

Johnny Gomes is tuff. Not tuff enuff to get in some semblance of shape and play at least one position competently, but that s*** is for pussies. Tuff guys swing for the fences. The long ball is all that matters when you are ... tuff.

Navarro...isn't he the guy who had the ball bounce in the dirt and crush his trachea earlier this season or something? It was the weirdest thing.

Yeah. I'll bet Staats and Magrane found a way to blame the opposition or umpires.

Ortiz really needs to get that surgery done, if only the Sox had a solid backup for his departure. While having a very good avg he's been a shell of himself

His last performance of at least 3 RBIs was way back on May 9th against Toronto. Since then in a span of 63 games (33 RBIs), only 7 games he has had RBIs, 36 of those games have seen him not drive in any runs
