We may be lucky that the team is showing its flaws this early. Last year, they were holding things together with bubble gum and duct tape and the FO thought it could whether the storm. They found out otherwise and they were terribly embarrassed. The same signs are there this year. Hopefully, they learned their lesson from last year, and the FO will get some reinforcements.

I hope you're right. A Mark Buehrle (who I still think is available despite the extension) and a big bat are still attainable. It's up to the FO to help this team through it.

 

...and Youkilis weakly pops out. I love the guy, but he runs out of gas too quickly.

 

Anyway, a change needs to happen. If the FO isn't going to help them out, then f*** them. Maybe the change should be in the FO.
