The biggest joke is Brian Fuentes.. Jason Isringhausen deserves it more

John Maine should be there too

im not sure barry should be starting

Everybody needs to realize that it does not matter that Soriano is most definitely a better player right now, and just see that it is terrific that Barry is starting because it is in his home stadium, and is a positive environment that puts Bud in a situation where he cannot rain on the parade.

...or that he's actually starting because he does indeed deserve it...

Matt Holiday: 15 HR, 4 SB, AVG .341, OBP .392, SLG .573

Alfonso Soriano: 15 HR, 13 SB, AVG .309, OBP .352, SLG .532

Barry Bonds: 17 HR, 5 SB, AVG .295, OBP .512, SLG .589

NO, everybody needs to realize that bonds is verry diserving to be the starter

HE LEADS ALL NL OUTFIELDER IN OBP,SLG AND OPS ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE

It's Beltran that is no where near deserving in the OF.

Lineup should be:

Reyes

Utley

Bonds

Griffey

Holliday

Fielder

Wright

Martin

But that really stacks the lefties at the top of the order. Bonds will be out after the required 3 innings. Should be replaced by Soriano which would even things out. Beltran doesn't even belong on the roster.

EDIT: 4-2 NL

EDIT: NL 40-35-2 vs. AL in Allstar games.

Oh great - they do have gay intros this year. Really need those amazing fireworks' date=' red carpet and stupid music. This is getting harder to watch each year.[/quote']

Next year they'll designate Barry Zito as the decorations coordinator. Imagine the turn out of that game...

Two threads, hmmm.

It is pretty amazing that we, as Sox fans, are blessed enough to have the #3 hitter in THAT lineup. What an amazing group: Ichiro, Jeter, Ortiz, A-Rod, Vlad, Maggs, Pudge, Polanco. That the Sox would have the MEAT of that order is pretty impressive.

Let's be thankful! (while we wait to actually watch a 'baseball game').

Now it's time for the unessecarily long Willie Mays tribute...

Give Bonds an Academy Award too for best supporting actor. He sure does look like he's caring.

Yeah, Polanco, get the HELL out of the way.

Reyes tags if Polanco catches that, but Vlad's cannon? That's something even Reyes wouldn't challenge.
