You can criticize him, but be right. The ball Catt hit at him was a hot shot that he just missed, and you see that happen everyday. The other ball Byrd hit wasn't even close. The NESN replay had him shading toward the bag and had to cover a lot of ground to get to where he was.

I'm talking about the other ball to his left the other day when he did the slide to one knee on a ball right at him. That one wasn't as hotly hit, but the slide thing makes them score it a hit. He should have had them both.
