Like I just posted, man up all of RSN! Were in a s***** streak at the moment, which can be expected because if you thought they would play .700 ball all season and beat the Yankees by double digits then your just f***ing retarded.

This happens every year, they start out with there ass's on fire and cool off and let the Yankees back in it. It happens every year! You would think some on here would be used to it and alomost expect it. But no, there just a bunch of ninnys on here who think the sky is falling and then end of the world is near.

Theres still a ton of games to go, so stop with all the crying and cheer for your team and ALL of its players. I could care f***ing less if they win the division or not, the just need to make the playoffs, and we can go from there. Winning a WS being the WC or Division champ doesn't make a bit of difference to me, al that matters is the WS. The f***ing Yankees can win all the division titles in the world, I want WS!

Agreed, I mean this team still has a 7.5 game lead, the best RPI in the league, and the second best record in baseball. If anything, this just shows us our weakness: That when everyone's cold this lineup sucks. let's all relax, the players we were leaning on (Lowell, Youk, Pedro[ia]) have joined everone besides Manny and Ortiz with subpar performances. Our pitching is not going to give up 12 runs every night, and our offense isn't going to get shut out every night, so let's just chill, and get out of this. It's a needed test for this team, instead of just cruising through the entire season.

Ya would everyone be happy if breezed threw the season with no competition like the Mets did last year? And then fall flat on our faces to a very s*****/lucky ball club in the playoffs?

I do find it comical that you have a 7.5 game lead on the division and god forbid, a 4 game lead on the wild card if it ever came to that yet people are ready to go to the top of the hub, bust a window and jump out. If the yankees shave 2 more games off the loss column, then the sleep should get a little restless. Until then, chill the f*** out. 5 games is when it can change in a poor week. Until you get there, you have at least the next week to look forward to being a first place team. This is how I managed in 04 when you guys charged back. Look at how many nights your head can hit the pillow and you can still be in first even in the worst case scenario.

Yeah but when you loss 7 games in a about a week and half, it starts to get nerve racking.

They are doing better than I expected them to do' date=' considering I knew they were doomed from the start after signing Drew and Lugo.[/quote']

How is this NOT a trolling post?

Good god motherf***er I would ban your ass so f***ing fast.

Lugo's avg. sucks but hes knocked in 33 runs, that would be tied for 3rd on the Dodgers. Drew struggled after his RF crash, but now is starting to hit. Am I happy with them? Not as much as i'd like to be, but i'm not a "sky is falling fan" so I don't mind being pateint.

Drew's strength is getting on base, Lugo's is speed and he has been decent at driving in runs. I like the new lineup with Drew 1 and Lugo 9. That way Lugo gives the 9 spot some run production while Drew can get on base as the leadoff hitter.

You guys need to lighten up a little bit. Are you guys really pleased with Lugo' date=' and Drew's production?[/quote']

At the time he made that post he hadn't taken his percs yet. He had some teeth out so obviously he was a bit on edge last night.

Ive heard some guys from work couple of days ago "see I told ya, the Sox would start to crumble and the Yankees will start winning every game." I just calmly told them that its only June and way too early to get into panic mode. The Sox have one of the best rotations in baseball, strong back end of Oki/Paps, and a lineup (sans Crisp) that has the talent to make a pitcher work. Im still for Wily Mo getting playing time in center. At the same time, Coco would be valuable as a late innings pinch runner/defensive replacement

Tavarez is doing such a damn good job that the Sox can ease Lester along with his progression as he comes back from cancer

I'd like to know how many RBIs Lugo has by way of the RBI groundout.

An RBI is an RBI tho isn't it? It doesn't have to be pretty.

I'm plenty light, even after that massive gyro I just ate. Lugo's a shithole, no denying that. But I thing that Drew really could do well in the leadoff spot.

true it is, but an rbi on an out doesnt really give much opurtunity for more runs. which i've noticed is a big problem for this team. almost every potential rally is started with 1 or 2 outs, which leaves little room for error.
