Anywho, I wouldn't use the straight vs flush example. Straights are fairly easy to get away from if you experienced enough.

Depends on a number of factors. Who you're playing, pot odds, etc.

I'm assuming that you made the incorrect call... If you call with pot odds and lose, it's still the right call and a winning decision. I'm talking about throwing away a hand that you would be making a losing call.
