If he were to do that, the yankees easily could get around that by activating Giambi from the DL when he is eligible to and have him serve the suspension while he is injured.

Why do people feel the need to absolutely make s*** up just because of the rivalry? Does Mitchell have the authority to suspend Giambi? No, he's just collecting information, and Giambi's name happens to be one of the ones at the root of the problem.

To be fair, Giambi would probably be considered one of the two poster boys for steroids. There is a reason his situation is being looked into, and it's not a Yankee - Red Sox thing.

dude, I wasn't insinuating anything. Just having a little tongue in cheeck fun with the connection thats all. I need to do this on a Friday when we all relaxed form school or work
