I don't understand the negative perceptions that surround Drew. The guy busts his ass down the line on groundballs, and he slammed his back into a wall the other day.

 

He comes in with that stigma and everyone buys into it. Face it, he's a huge upgrade over Trot Nixon.

Yeah... Drew definitely wasn't going 100% when he ran right into that wall chasing down a homerun... He definitely doesn't look like a guy who would run... through a wall... every managers dream.

 

Drew is doing a fine job in right field, it would have been a very very awkward play for him dive for that ball.

Lol, he was talking about the play the other day. It's just my opinion. I just don't think he consitantly plays hard out there, or at least it doesn't look that way. It could just be that he it's just the fact that he is quiet, doesn't have any standout personality that some "classic" Red Soxs have. But I guess my point is that I haven't been impressed by Drew, and he certainly hasn't been playing like a $14 million guy. Hopefully he'll break out of this slump and prove me wrong.
