We should probably make a new thread cause the lineups might be altered due to the doubleheader.

What sucks about this being postponed is that now we have Tavarez going on 4 days rest against the Yanks on Monday. What I hope to see is Beckett back on Monday on extended rest and then have Schilling and Matsuzaka pitch on normal 5 days rest to finish out the series. That's best case scenario, obviously. Then, if Beckett's back on Monday, hopefully he can take Tavarez's spot again that following Saturday against the Rangers after an off day on Thursday. That postpones Tavarez for 2 starts...I like. Luckily, whoever gets called up from Pawtucket is facing Lerew, so we should win that game anyway.

Haha. Yeah. I'm up for it. The only reason I started the one last year was because (like this year) it was Red Sox/Braves. I've got all kinds of bets going on so I'm amped over the series living here in Atlanta.

Most of those starts were made back in 2003, when he was on one of the worst teams in baseball. I think it is safe to say, Maroth is a different pitcher.

 

Besides, those sample sizes are too small to say for a fact that he has been "owned."

 

The sample sizes are too small to say that he will be owned. You can never predict anything in something as human as baseball.

 

But, it's not to small to say that he HAS been owned in his starts against the Sox. I'm not saying that he is going to blow again, but he has blown in the past.

 

Again, he has sucked in the past. I dont know how he'll do tomorrow.
