Tavarez is absolutely incapable of throwing a ball straight. Sometimes you just need to put a 93 mph fastball over the plate.

Two no-out walks. This is why I hate JT. He can be OK when he's throwing strikes because of the movement of his pitches, but he gives it away far too often. This inning is going to hurt.

I would rather have him try to score on that play than not. It isn't very different from Papi grounding into a 6-4-3 DP, and Lugo only had the chance to score because he busted his ass from 1st to 3rd. I think you gotta push that run across if you can.
