If no one trades up I think Quinn drops to KC at #23...

No way. I'll be mildly surprised if he gets past Carolina at #14 (Delhomme is not the long-term guy, IMO), quite surprised if he slips past Jacksonville at #17 (Leftwich same story), and utterly shocked if Dallas doesn't take him at #22. I can really see the Jets moving up a few spots.

Wow...

"If Buffalo can put some points on the board, they could steal this division"-Marino, while suggesting that it's a weak division.

that was steve young who said it

So they move back in the 1st round, and trade their 2nd and 5th for a 6th to get Revis. Seems like a bit much with other good corners on the board. Especially when they need a potential franchise QB. Strange move.

When the fish passed on Quinn, they showed him sitting with his girlfriend and I am not a lip reader, but it looked like he said: "I don't know where I am going." If he slips to KC, that would be some great coup by the Chiefs.

You don't think the Cowboys snatch him up? I do.

I do not understand why they needed to move up like that to get Moss.

Because of who is slotted ahead of them and their needs. Cincinatti, Tennessee, and NY could all use some help on the D-Line. He's very likely gone by the time they pick, and that's not a lot to get the guy that you want. That move made sense to me.

Slipping to 23rd would be very unexpected.

Yeah, and Jacksonville's still there to pick before Dallas. That was a good move by them, because if they want him, they aren't likely to lose him to Cin, Ten, and NYG. So, they netted a 3rd and 6th while still getting the guy they wanted (assuming it's Quinn).

I'd love to see Reggie Nelson fall to the Pats.

He is the obvious desire. What I am almost afraid of is that those two wide receivers, Bowe and Meachem, are still going to be there at 28. I want them to both go so the Pats feel compelled to take Dwayne Jarret. He will be the steal of the draft.

Good pick' date=' might draw some Florida fans to watch the Jaguars, and he can step in right now.[/quote']

Yeah, that is a good fit. That defense is going to be stingy. Problem is, so will the offense.

That solves this mystery.

Yup. Good draft for the Browns. The franchise QB and his protection.

This is the stupidest show around. Of course, I got up early to watch it today because a Saturday without sports is stupid too.

But do I really need to listen to Ron Jowarski say "Let me look at my notes on QUinn here, he is good under pressure and shows a lot of composure and it looks like my notes were right today. This is pressure and he really handled it well."

HE SAT THERE AND WENT UNDRAFTED. WHEN HE GOT DRAFTED HE STOOD ON THE STAGE AND SHOWED HIS NEW JERSEY. Sometimes ESPN is so lame. First, we'll show Brady Quinn all morning, showing the worst and most embarassing moments of this kid's life while asking him to interview with us, then we'll turn it into the feelgood story of the draft because of our own fake pressure. Lame.
