I'm worried about this one. I dont want to get swept at home. We need JT to just hold TOR to 2 runs for 6 innings and then we'll have a chance.

Getting swept in a 2 game series isn't much to be upset about...

I would love to win this f***ing game though. Let's go into Baltimore with a W behind us and sweep that series. We need another hot streak going into New York.

Knock 'em out, Tavarez!

Does Tavarez have a "thing" for Dice-K or what...?

http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/sp/getty/16/fullj.getty-73394701eg020_seattle_marin_5_22_43_pm.jpg

[Look at Doug Mirabelli, he's like "what the hell are they doing" haha]

I wonder if Tavarez is going to pitch in on someone tonight like he told Dice-K to do to ARod...

I don't judge but maybe he likes Julian's gyroballs

... he just reacted to Julian diving into him...

If can Tavarez can just hold 6 innings we can get some good relieft and then Paps to close for us. But the thing is... how man runs will Tavarez give up before the 6th?

And we need the offense to be there like they were against the Yankees. Maybe get Lowell back in some clutch action.

I really, really hope we keep Paps out of this, I'd like him to have another days rest, or at least, not be used on tomorrow or thursday.

Good point. It would be better to save him again on the Yankees.

Besides, it's still early in the season. How bad could this loss make it?

Glad to see Youk get the day off he's been hit 2 times over the last couple of days plus I like Hinske . Everytime I see that guyy he has a double

I dont know about Paps being rested for 4 days straight

For some reason i was thinking he was used yesterday, but still, i hope hes available for the yankees, I think Oki can handle the Orioles fine.

I like Hinske in there but I would've preferred to see Drew batting second tonight. I understand he's there to protect Manny but with the was Lowell has been swinging lately, he could do a good enough job of protecting Manny for one night
