I'm pretty sure that Sheffield said he would have come to Boston if released, despite almost getting into a fight in RF. A-Rod likes Pizza like Boggs liked chicken. It's just a way of making him better... yes.... better.

You can see the difference between Cora and Pedroia. I think Pedroia should get most of the time, but you can see how Cora lets the game come to him while pedroia presses a bit more. I think the Sox are confident that can change with time as his tools are better than Coras.
