What'd they say? I'm listening on WRKO.

Rosenthal and Buck were talking about his opt out clause and what a good fit he'd be for the Sox. They could trade Manny, get more reliable/younger player, superior defender, weakens the Yankees, yada, yada, yada.....

Ah, some enlightening discussion

But they didn't mention the fact that this guy can play SS. They said Lowell is leaving, etc., but this guy was a gg SS and that is a huge part of his value which the Yankees aren't even tapping.

Buck was born into the gig. McCarver is a jock, but how did Rosenthal get there. He adds nothing to the broadcast, absolutely nothing.

He writes for Foxsports.com as one of their baseball "specialists". His writing is cliche and trite.

I was pretty happy last night with Kruk, Baker and the baseball tonight guy (Karl Ravich, I believe) doing the game on ESPN. Of course, I watched it on the NESN feed because they were still licking Yankee ass (seriously, Baker said it tasted "good" and Kruk said he "liked the smell, sort of like Dykstra's jockstrap"). :D

It was all-A-Rod. But they were considerably better--or at least different--than Joe morgan and crew.

Some loud outs there. Beckett needs to cruise through the 8, 9, 1, and then Crisp needs to get the engine running again against this kid. They are tatooing the ball.

Nice stuff Beckett. He's DEFINITELY not missing his spots horribly or walking a bunch of guys. Those two things are what tend to get him down. I think he's getting stronger.

Nice play by Lowell and an easy inning for Beckett. They need to work their way to the top of the order now with a runner or two and let the top of the order make some real noise.
