You guys had a friggin' off day between your Sunday night game and your NL West away game. We had a Sunday night game against you guys and had to travel further than Colorado into Oakland for a night game the next day. I doubt the jet lag is as bad as you think. I just think Fogg was able to get on his horse the past two outings (Boston and New York).

Not looking for excuses, but they were on an extended homestand and the travel could have had an effect. Not making a huge deal of it, I just expect a better effort tonight.

Yeah. Francis can be tough on you guys though. Luckily, you didn't have to face pitchers that kill your team like Haren and then back-to-back soft-tossing lefties did to us. <_ god that was a brutal series in oakland.>

 

It should really only affect your guys play yesterday, if at all. After an off-day and a game day they should be getting into the swing of things. You should expect to see a better performance tonight anyway.

They're facing a fantastic pitcher tonight -- not sure why they couldn't hit Fogg... Sox couldn't either, as you know. But Francis' ERA has been South of 2.40 over the last two months, if I remember correctly.
