I've found that new Boston relievers really cement themselves in the positive caress of Boston fans by walking guys and giving up hits at Fenway in late innings.

Let's see what you can do Joel!!

Alright, 6 outs, with the bottom 6 of our order coming up. I would love to see a first pitch shot down the RF line by Drew. Let's break this s*** apart JD.

That down and in slider from Felix is nasty to lefties. I don't expect to see anything hard to Drew.

Again, I'm glad I'm not batting.

Fortunately if the Sox ARE going to get no-hit, it will be a quick and painless death (in so far as it is against the M's and the likeable King Felix)

I'm flipping to the Rays game at the commercial break here in FL. James Shields has a silly change up.

Rally started!

The Mariner's announcer literally just said "bouncer to Richie, back for two and D'OH he dropped it". He sounded exactly like Homer.

Hey, its the little things that count at times like this.

Perhaps Papi will get a chance to make something happen tonight with that hit.

If nothing else JD Drew just endeared himself to sox fans everywhere with a simple hit.

Announcer: Well, Felix is looking for the no-hitter now........and there is a base hit up the middle by JD Drew.

That made my day as well as anything could right now.

The only fond memory that I have of Carl Everett is his bloop hit to break up Moose's bid for a perfecto.

I remember his beard and his raging temper.
