Although Pedroia took a hard cut and a miss' date=' his swing didn't look as long as it did last year and in ST.[/quote']

Still with two outs and a man at third being down by one run, you would like to see him try to line it some where instead of trying to hit the ball out of the park.

He still does have a big swing for his size but like you said it doesn't look as big as last year, his swing now just looks like a power swing but a little more defined...

exactly... I couldn't really word it...

I questioned the change for Romero, Teixeira is a switch so he can hit righties and Sosa is a righty. I'll say it again, Romero has to strictly be a lefty specialist

I knew that shot was gone when Sammy was jumping around

maybe someone will pull off a walkoff grand slam like Ass Rod... f*** him... Let's go Sox!!! it's only the 6th inning...

What happened to this JC Romero?

2002 Stats

W-L 9-2, ERA 1.89, 76 SO, 36 BB in 81.0 innings... (81 games)

I think Romero is this year's Seanez & Tavarez, both of whom were Tito's pets. He'll throw them out there even if he knws theyre doing bad

EDIT: Donnelly has held righties to a .212 avg over the last 5 seasons but of course he's just coming in now

I knew right from the start from Tito in ST

"Romero is a guy who can come in late in the game & get both lefties/righties out"
Regardless righties hit .382 off of him last year

Now I'm gonna have a bad f***ing day tomorrow, unless there's a comeback which I'm hoping for... well I still have to work on Easter so it's still not going to be that great...

I'm still willing to give him a break. He's pitched well the past few games.

Why not use Pineiro in a long-relief situation though? Curious...

Maybe they'll cut him instead of Lopez when Timlin comes back. I think Lopez is pretty good, and with that side-arming delivery, he's definitely tough on lefties.
