Yes, Boyle really is 6'7'' with 13 siblings. And yes, he's almost 7' on skates.

My cousin is #14 Matt Greene (his older brother Justin is technically on the team as well, but he doesn't play). Last year during Thanksgiving, Gerbe came to dinner. It was pretty awesome. The team didn't let him go back to Colorado (his home) because of team restrictions, so he came to my grandparents' house (where we all go). He's a feisty little mongrol and he also happens to be the man. My cousins have hockey parties in their dorms and stuff so I can go if I want to. Hopefully I get to do that soon.

MSU is big overall but their goalie is only 5'7 (I think). If BC can get the puck into the net from half way up the net to the top, they'll be fine. The MSU goalie stays low because that's where most of the goals happen (about 75% I think). BC should be able to use its speed and put the puck in the net up top to catch MSU's goalie off-guard.

Heartbreaker for the Eagles tonight. I thought the penalty call with a few minutes left was pretty weak, the MSU player took a dive. Funny that it was Boyle who tipped the puck behind the net right to an MSU player who then set up the game winner.

...he'll still get a great contract...

BC has easily been one of the top 5 schools to play hockey at. It's his life. He liked college life, so he stuck through his four years. Or maybe he had no intention of going pro. Perhaps he wanted to actually get a college education? I know quite a few of that teams' members have no intention of going pro because I know them. My cousins are two of them.

hey

bc had a great year, they got mugged by a bigger, stonger team that wore them down

it sucks

but to make it to the finals speaks for itself,it is a an accomplishment

theyve been on the cusp of greatness in their football program and their hoop program but cant seem to get over the edge that seperates pretty good from great

their hockey program is great

they take a backseat to nobody in that sport despite back to back losses in the nat championship games and i suspect theyll compete next year as well...
