There is a lot of July talk again about the Red Sox trading Manny Ramirez, and the buzz becomes louder with Seattle considering moving free-agent-to-be Ichiro Suzuki.

Not happening. Ichiro hasn't been the same player as he was in 2001. He is still a fantastic player, but I'd take Manny over him.

 

EDIT: He had a better 2004 than 2001...but still I'd take Manny over him.

No way...Ichiro is a huge benefit in a lineup that features guys like Manny. As good as he is, he can't be had in lieu of Manny. A supplement to Manny, that'd be great...instead of Manny, no way.

ichiro is an interesting ball player,i for 1 always try to see him when seattle comes here

manny is the best right handed hitter this man has ever seen and without him behind papi i dont think ortiz is the same hitter
