  3. Morales > Dubront. I don't want to hear about flexability b/c Morales will just be bailing out Dubront.

  5. Dickey has dominated the NL however. It's a risky gamble, but it's well worth it especially after the Miami trade. Dickey Johnson Buehrle Romero Morrow Sick.
  6. I really don't want Rey Ordonez v2.
  7. A retaliation strike against the Angels, as of right now they are wanting to move Kinsler to 1B and have Profar play 2B and Andrus SS. Ellsbury can replace Hamilton in CF, Profar plays his natural position of SS, Kinsler stays at 2B (his natural position) and Olt comes up and plays 1B. Makes for a stronger Texas team. We then put Victorino in CF, Andrus at SS, and move Boegarts to RF while he's in AA/AAA. And play Kalish in the other OF position. Or we could look into flipping Andrus for Justin Upton. Anyone who thinks we are winning THIS year is wrong.
  8. Trade Ellsbury for Andrus. Do it. Do it now.
  9. Take back the Gonzalez trade and we have Anthony Rizzo at 1B - looking amazing and Casey Kelly in our rotation next year.
  10. Lester for Myers please.
  11. Lester has been getting progressively worse: http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/index.php/the-new-jon-lester/
  12. Lester for Myers, Myers to RF, trade Salty for Floyd and kick the tires on Haren. Offseason complete.
  13. So if we're gonna have issues with or without Lester, why not save the cash and bank in on another possible top hitting star?
  14. Please don't. Not another Lucchino move..
  15. Please don't group Price together with Shields or Lester. That's not fair to him.
  16. And that's why example1 and I go back to Netsports.
  17. The Rays are, but Lester is younger and a LHSP.
  18. We'll have to wait and see won't we?
  19. Wil Myers - OF - Royals Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star reports that the Royals have had discussions about trading top prospect Wil Myers for either James Shields or Jon Lester. The Royals have already added Ervin Santana via trade this offseason from the Angels and recently signed Jeremy Guthrie to a three-year contract, but they want a true front-line starter and are apparently willing to deal one of the most promising young hitters in the game in order to acquire one. Myers, 21, batted .314/.387/.600 with 37 home runs and 109 RBI in 134 games this past season between the Double-A and Triple-A levels. Related: Jon Lester, James Shields Source: Kansas City Star Nov 26 - 8:07 PM
  20. Or let's take his 162 game average: .259/.356/.507/.863, That's not meeting in the middle, but taking the truth. He's not a clean up hitter. And he's getting older and coming off of a horrible season for a power hitter in a great power hitter's park.
  21. .700, The Ross/Lavarnway to me could go eitherway as 'scary'. Lavarnway has always been advised to have above average MLB power and a good eye. Last year he was horrid, but it was a small sample size. David Ross has long been one of the best back up backstops in the game. If he were to continue his stick (Ross) and Lavarnway is an average MLB backstop, that spot is scary as most teams have pathetic catching stocks. And UN: .227/.343/.469/.812 - Is that a line you want for your clean up hitter in the AL East?
  22. As of right now yes. It's him or Clay. Neither of course is a true number one, but Lester would be far and away the BEST pitching in KC since Greinke.
  23. Please advise on the 30 #1's in MLB today.
  24. Trout and Harper were both unknowns until produced. Go back to Vulcan sir.
