Oden's in foul trouble very, very early.

No they're not. They're playing him straight up for the most part. Just because he gets the ball and there happens to be three Georgetown defenders in the area doesn't mean it's a triple team. Georgetown wouldn't dare triple team him with the other talent on that team. Remember, Ohio State is where they are because of their guards.

SR, they have one man directly on him, with another hanging out in the zone. When the ball comes to him, they collapse on him. When he touches the ball, 3 men are defending him.

Again, just because there's three guys in the general vicinity does not make it a triple team.

 

And I'll have to see the replays here, but at full speed, it looked like Oden just got a gift of a call. That should've been a charge, based on the first look.

7'2" and I was real surprised by how well he moved. Is he supposed to be a lottery pick? Cause he will be very good IMO. His defense was better than I was led to believe.

he may have just jumped up with his performance today. He was able to score and play well on the best defensive big man in college.

its hard to bet against the champs but 4.5 and greg oden and conley are making this hard

Oden sat out the first half then came back and dominated Hibbert offensively. I thought Oden would be better defensively, though, as Hibbert was able to abuse him for points right back.

oden is still a child for chrissakes

billy packer came right out today and said theres no comparison between oden walton and or russell..not even close

but considering oden is at an age that russ and walton never saw in college its a bit early to say anything

back in the day freshman couldnt play varsity so odens in water these men never dipped in

his 2nd foul on that 1/2 assed bump shouldnt have been called

the others were legit and somewhat avoidable

hibbert f***ed up too

osu's back up big man was decent enuff where they didnt get crucified and in the 2nd half oden was great

Oden was great in the second half. He abused Hibbert down low and rebounded like a fiend late. I still think he is the number one overall pick. Something tells me he will be a top 5 player in the game in short order.

i didnt see a whole lot of him till the end of football and in the big 10 tourney

he is getting better around the hoop and hes a 7ft fukin cheetah with a condors wing span under the hoop defensively

noah will be tested,hopefully for state oden is patient and stays within himself

no kidding, I was real surprised at how fast and quick he was. And he's a class act. He isnt a f***ing thug like a lot of these *******s are. Like OJ Mayo will be. He's a quiet, unassuming kid with a world of talent. Easy to root for.
